This is a hands-on, seasonal mentorship designed to help you truly understand beekeeping—not just as a practice, but as a relationship with land, ecology, and the bees themselves.
Hosted at Sun & Bloom Farms in Lebanon, Missouri, this experience invites you into an active apiary across the full beekeeping season.
Together, we will:
• Open and inspect hives
• Observe seasonal patterns and changes
• Learn to recognize hive health and stress signals
• Explore natural and ecological beekeeping approaches
• Build confidence through direct, guided experience
This is not a one-time workshop.
Each session builds on the last—following the bees from spring through fall.
When: Second Wednesday of each month (April–November)
