A tree's entire life story is hidden within its bark. In this free program, we will look beyond the bark, analyzing a tree cross section, or "tree cookie." Participants will learn how to count tree rings and get a better understanding of a tree's life.
This program will be presented three times throughout the year: on April 18, June 20 and Aug. 15. Each session will take place in the nature center from 2-2:30 p.m. There is no need to register, and all are welcome to attend.
