Join us on Thursday, May 18 at 6pm for an exploration of the dark history, noir mysteries, legends, folklore and hauntings of the Ozarks. This includes connections you may not expect--with popular "Dark Ozarks" podcast hosts, Joshua Heston and Lisa Livingston Martin. They will discuss history going back many lifetimes...burying a few skeletons. From Wild West outlaws, phantoms, Civil War vigilantes, hexes, to cold-blooded murder--Josh and Lisa, historians of the twisted history of the area, leave no stone unturned. Join us as we dig deep into the unsavory and spooky history of the Ozarks, to shed light on secrets meant to stay in the dark. Because sometimes there are no easy answers in the Dark Ozarks.
Their new book "The Spooklight," written about the Joplin Spooklight will be available for purchase.
