Darren Mitchell Benefit Tournament
Join the community for a golf tournament supporting Lebanon Golf Course Superintendent Darren Mitchell and his recovery.
On April 28th, Lebanon Golf Course Superintendent Darren Mitchell was struck from behind in a serious accident on his way to work. He was life-flighted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, where spinal surgery was performed — but Darren is still without feeling or use of his lower body. His road to recovery is long, and every day brings new challenges.
Darren has given nearly a decade of his life to this golf course and this community. Now it's our turn to show up for him.
Join us on July 18th, 2026 for a 2-person scramble benefit tournament in his honor. Come out to enjoy the course he helped shape, celebrate the game of golf, and raise funds to support Darren and his family.
