You are invited to be a citizen scientist for a day! Visitors can search for birds by walking on one of the many designated Great Missouri Birding Trails that wind throughout the park. Bird watchers are welcome to "warm up" in the nature center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., where there will be bird identification books, electronic bird song devices and other bird items available for reference.
Sightings can be reported on the Group Tally in the nature center or report online at birdcount.org. More information can be obtained at the official website, https://gbbc.birdcount.org.
