Lebanon local farm, Sun and Bloom Farms will be hosting a herbal culinary workshop on February 9th. The workshop will show guests how to take kitchen ingredients like cooking oils, vinegar, and honey and elevate their nutritional profile by infusing them with herbs and spices. You'll learn how to properly infuse olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and honey to create delicious tools for your cooking.
The workshop will conclude with a tasting of infused oils, vinegars, and honeys created by Sun and Bloom.
Guests are requested to bring a 8oz glass jar to make an infused vinegar during the workshop to take home.
Instructor: Anna Maria Desipris, co-founder of Sun and Bloom Farms is a mother, herbalist, farmer, and beekeeper. Although not an official chef, her passion for cooking plays a big role in her life and for her family. Bringing together her Greek and Italian heritage with her herbalism training, she loves sharing the magic of kitchen herbalism with others.
